The Twist，是Metri乐队c的一首歌，选自他们的第一张独立摇滚类型的专辑《Grow Up and Blow Away》。这支来自加拿大的独立乐队，以英伦独立摇滚的底子加上新潮时期的电子趣味而走红。Metric乐队的成员有James Shaw、Emily Haines、Joules Scott-Key和Josh Winstead。是多伦多艺术大学学生Emily Haines（女主唱）与拥有茱莉亚音乐学院古典音乐背景的James Shaw所领军的摇滚乐队。

虽然蛰伏了多年，Metric的唱片还是顺利问世了。跳动的音符，节奏感很强，女主唱的声音很性感，与男声的浅吟低述交相映衬，适合跟随着拍子摇摆的音乐。
