这位来自爱尔兰的女歌手Kate Purcell，她的首张专辑：《A Dream Unfolds》发行后，即受到爱乐人及乐评的瞩目，1998年得到Irish Music Magazine两项年度大奖：Best Rookie of the Year【年度最佳新人】及The Act to watch out for【最受期待的艺人】；历经三年多的创作、收歌与筹备，终于在2002年推出个人第二张专辑–《Shadows of You》。
