很早以前，推荐过Kate St. John的《Indescribable Night》。都说Kate St. John的歌，适合在深夜里听，具有撩人迷离的气质。
Kate St John来自英国，年少时放弃了她的古典音乐专业训练，80年代中期跟随Dream Academy乐队一起成为流行乐界的明星，是一名歌者和演奏家，也是一名出色的曲词作家。她精通多种乐器，擅长双簧管，萨克斯和人声的演绎。曾和Van Morrison、Roger Eno、Tears For Fears等众多艺人合作。
优美的旋律，诗一般的歌词，和美妙的歌声，就好象天使下凡一般，每一首歌都是一个唯美的古典世界。她至今出过两张专辑。《Indescribable Night》和《Second Sight》。这首Songs And Silhousttes选自《Second Sight》，单一的钢琴声凄迷涟漪，加上低音长笛的沉颤，真的能够摇撼听者每一串隐秘的回忆。

我几乎天天都来看这儿，但是从来没留言过。跟你一届，也是刚毕业。高中时我听的这首歌，第一次听就爱上了低音长笛的声音，空灵，深邃。《断弦的耳朵》和《穿过骨头抚摸你》都很不错，我听过《A Perfect Indian》才了解了Sinead O’ Connor。
