Snow Patrol 来自苏格兰的格拉斯高，低调而华丽。一贯的莫名感伤，一贯的暧昧忧郁，一贯的恍然若失……是典型到非常的英伦吉他摇滚。

他们于1998年签约于厂牌Jeepster（就是众所周知的Belle and Sebastian所属厂牌）并发行了首张专辑Songs For Polar Bears。
2001年发行第二张专辑When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up。
蛰伏3年加入新血-吉他手Nathan Connolly，2004年在Polydor音乐大厂旗下祭出的全新大碟Final Straw被严苛的英国乐评率先点名为「2004年年度最佳唱片之一」！
2006年第四张专辑《Eyes Open》从上周第三位重返本周的榜首位置。
《RUN》这首歌曲选自专集《Final Straw》由 Chris Lord-Alge 担当制作人。他为这张唱片加入了电子乐等时髦的点缀，使得这张唱片更加成熟，更加整体，更加干净。但更重要的是与此同时音乐中也保留了乐队原有的田园气息。无论什幺时候，淳朴，吉他和旋律，才是 Snow Patrol 的本质
