对于Dido，这五年是对自己的一个积淀，是对心绪的调整。于是，她把家从伦敦搬到LA开始新专辑的创作。Dido说自己之前并非某个城市的狂热者，之后，当一个个好点子接踵而至时，你不得不感叹这是一个绝佳的创作城市。这座城融合了想象、创意，使之变得极富戏剧性。每个人差不多九点坠入梦乡之时，自己呢，便可以在一个人的夜潜心创作。

11月17日，Dido的全新专辑就要正式发行，新专辑的名字叫做《Safe Trip Home》。封面颇具科幻味：蓝色的星球，密布着寂静感，那个缓缓着陆的宇航员即将安全抵达。他们常说，漂泊的人会在Dido的歌声中重获温暖。很佩服这样的歌手，触景生情会想起，即使已是五年。（网络整理）

    呵呵 仔细体会了下dido的音乐心情 好像是在表达一个对quiet times的向往和对现实的理性抉择。
    不知我理解对了没？

    无论DIDO的风格怎么变,

    她的歌声总是能穿透我们的身体,触动心弦,touch our souls.
