Maria的声音是一听就爱上的那种，跟挪威，瑞典女声以往给人的感觉差不多，都是非常清澈，细致和圆润，听上去十分的舒服，挪威音乐惯有动听的旋律和轻快简单的吉他编曲，相信她一定能用她两种艺术的混合气质打动你。
Maria Solheim 是被挪威著名钢琴家 Bengt Egil Hanssen 发现的，当时只有15岁的她正在一个乡村教堂里唱她自己的歌。2001年2月7日，她推出了首张专辑Barefoot，所有的歌曲均由她自己创作，在一年以后她的第二张专辑Behind closed doors发行。现在Maria已经是一个得到认可的艺术家了。她不仅涉及演唱事业，还组建乐队。她自己说，我的音乐想要表达的就是灵感、交流以及合作。
Maria Solheim一惯的阴郁与敏感，人声很少，冷静空灵的钢琴时远时近，仿佛领人入虚无之境。
