Here’s Where the Story Ends-The Sundays

90年代初，the sundays以一种独立摇滚姿态出现在英格兰本土和美国，乐队的风格建立在the smiths乐队式的吉他流行乐和cocteau twins类似迷幻舞曲的梦幻流行乐基础上。乐队花了一年时间灌录他们的首张专辑《reading,writing,arithmetic》，这张专辑在1990年初推出后，受到了评论界的关注，并且出人意料地打入英国榜，取得第4名的好成绩。稍晚在美国上市后，这张专辑也打入现代摇滚榜，获得了39名的成绩。这张专辑在美国的成功，很大程度来源于电台和mtv频道对单曲“here’s where the story ends”的热播，这首单曲更是荣登现代摇滚榜冠军单曲宝座。这首歌也是王菲大姐“为非作歹”的原版。

跑去听王菲的中文版，听了感觉特别扭……中文的改编歌改的水平真的一般般。
