孤独的冰岛, 梦幻的冰岛, 一个人口不足20万的岛屿国家, 却是个十足孕育音乐精灵的土地. Bjork, sigur ros, worm is green, 还有我今天要说的Múm.冰岛常年积雪, 寒冷异常, 却有着世界上最为丰富的地热资源. 他们的音乐亦是如此, 表面上冰冰冷冷, 骨子里却涌动着让人惬意的暖流.
Múm, 一支来自冰岛北部某处的乐队, 由两个男孩儿和一对受过专业古典音乐训练的孪生姐妹组成. 他们的音乐通常静谧, 舒缓, 像在孕育一个生命一般每一个音符都是那样认真,.Múm的歌曲中所用到的乐器, 不禁小小的感叹了一下, 手风琴、口风琴(一种小型管乐器,类似口琴, 但有钢琴一样的键盘)、钟琴、电子合成器、吉他、贝司、大提琴，还有大量的电子程序编排的声效…… Múm却用这些纷繁复杂的乐器编织出了如此静谧,纯净的音乐.乐队的新专辑给人焕然一新的感觉，从以往的纯音乐演奏过渡到配备人声主唱的Electronica的风格，Green grass of tunnel就是在梦幻般柔美的双主唱人声与弦乐的交融之中，将你带入广袤的宇宙，去寻找，去摸索自己的精神归宿。
