再来一首Lana Del Rey的歌，上次推荐过“Video Games – Lana Del Rey”
《Born to Die/难逃一死》是唱作歌手Lana Del Rey的首张主流厂牌专辑，也是她的第二张录音室专辑。专辑二单《Born to Die》在2011年12月30日放出，此曲在当时备受乐评人喜爱，独特的演唱技巧和出挑的声线获得称赞，但贯穿整张专辑过强的戏剧性也受到些许批评。
“当时人们不把我当做严肃认真的音乐人，所以我就压低声调，我想那样的话我或许就能脱颖而出。” Del Rey这样解释自己低沉的音线。
《Video Games》和《Born to Die》两首歌曲被归为“类歌厅民谣（Quasi-Cabaret Balladry）”和“独立流行乐”，好似“酒后微醺催人入睡的音轨灵歌”。Del Rey则把自己的音乐叫做“好莱坞悲核（Hollywood sadcore）”，她还称自己是“匪徒版的Nancy Sinatra”。
Del Rey在被问到她的音乐风格时这样说：“我很乐意成为独立音乐的一份子。但我真的不是。我当时是在寻找一种归属。我甚至不认识任何音乐人。我TM根本搞不清什么是独立音乐，因为一旦有人接触到它，它在某种意义上就成了流行音乐，对吧... ...我并不是（像人们说的那样）之前在做独立音乐现在不做了。是这样，我一直活在路上，而不是真的睡在大街上，懂吗？”（网络整理）
